Police tried to intervene but could not succeed in preventing them from burning the photos.Some staffers from Gadag Bus Depot started buses in the morning but protesters attacked the depot and demanded no buses will be allowed to run. The protesters also took out a rally and raised slogans against Shah.Chandrakant Chavan, state secretary of Jaya Karnataka organisation said, "We demand that Prime Minister Narendra Modi should immediately remove Shah from the Union cabinet as he has insulted Dr Ambedkar. If this does not happen, we will intensify our protest in the coming days."
