Registration centres opened for farmers to sell paddy, jowar

AS per the government order, registration centres have been opened for the 2024-25 monsoon in Raichur district to purchase paddy and jowar from farmers under the Minimum Support Price Scheme.

The Deputy Director of the Food, Civil Supplies, and Consumer Affairs Department said that farmers should make good use of this facility.

Under the Minimum Support Price Scheme, it has been decided to purchase 25 quintals to a maximum of 50 quintals of paddy per acre at ₹2,300 per Qtl for normal paddy and ₹2,320 per Qtl for Grade-A paddy.
