Homestay owner gets a rude shock as travel agency offers Rs 1,09,689 tariff on website

A HOMESTAY owner got the shock of his life when he found the tariff of his own guest rooms in the holy town of Gokarna priced at over Rs 1 lakh. It took him sometime to realise the reason why he did not get sufficient guests during this year.

The tariff quoted on the travel agency's website

Every year, as the New Year celebrations near, it brings in guests during the entire month of December with visitors booking rooms in advance.
