SIDDIPET BRS MLA T Harish Rao on Monday alleged that law and order situation has deteriorated in the state under the Congress rule, leading to a steep rise in crime rate.

Speaking to the media during his visit to Medak, the former minister said: "Under the Congress rule, Telangana witnessed a significant rise in crime rate. There are reports of communal clashes occurring in some places. This situation is an indication of how the law and order deteriorated under the Congress government led by Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy."
