SEPARATE protests held by the SFI, Youth Congress, KSU and ABVP activists on Monday against a nursing college management in Kasaragod over the suicide attempt by a nursing student turned violent, with the agitators clashing with police personnel.
Several activists of the youth outfits were injured in the police lathicharge during their respective protests in front of the hospital. A number of police personnel were also injured in the scuffle. The injured persons were taken to nearby hospitals for treatment.
