'One Island, One Resort' policy to boost tourism

UNION Home Minister Amit Shah on Friday asserted that development of infrastructure and increasing tourism in the Union Territories of Andaman and Nicobar (A&N) Islands and Lakshadweep has been a priority of the central government led by Prime Minister Modi.

Shah made these remarks while chairing a meeting of the Islands Development Agency (IDA) and further noted that the Centre's aim is to build better infrastructure while preserving the culture and heritage of these islands.
