Bodo council chief seeks devpt of tribal languages

ASSAM's autonomous Bodoland Territorial Council chief Pramod Boro on Friday called for the development of tribal languages, saying that none could neglect their mother tongue.

Boro, who was addressing the 57th annual conference of All Bodo Students' Union (ABSU) at Bodofa Fwthar in Kokrajhar, also said special funds received by tribal communities for their development, including of their languages, were inadequate.
