Gujarat bachelor lured for booze worth ₹100 and farm job, sterilized

Govind Dantani, a 30-year-old bachelor from Navi Shedhavi village in Mehsana district, found himself sterilized after being tempted with a promise of ₹100 worth of alcohol. A multipurpose health worker lured Govind under the pretext of offering farm work, but instead drove him to Adalaj Government Hospital near Ahmedabad, where the sterilization was promptly performed.

Dantani—who is set to marry next month—alleged that he was sterilized by health department officials without his knowledge. In a complaint to former village sarpanch Prahlad Thakor, he revealed shocking details about the incident.
