People of Ambalpadi and surrounding areas under the banner of 'Rashtriya Heddari Balakedarara Hitharakshana Vedike' came together and held a meeting at Vasantha Mantapa, Ambalpady, here on Saturday and discussed about the vehicular underpass project which is proposed at Ambalpady Junction on NH-66.

Underpass project at Ambalapady likely to commence on Dec 16

People who have suffered all these years due to delayed vehicular underpass project in Ambalapady Junction demanded that the project be executed at the earliest.

Engineers from NHAI assured the public that the work will commence on December 16. The public expressed their apprehension stating that officials are sometimes vulnerable to pressure tactics from some local business entrepreneurs who are not in favour of the vehicular underpass project at the spot as they fear of losing their business.
