Speaking during the Irrigation Consultative Committee (ICC) meeting at KRS in Srirangapatna taluk on Tuesday, Chaluvarayaswamy said as per the Kattu Paddathi basis, the water will be released from January 10 to 18 and will be stopped for 12 days of interval. Likewise, the water will be released from the dam for irrigation purposes in four phases with a stoppage interval of 12 days each time. The water will also be released to the last part of Malavalli and Maddur taluks in the district, he said.
