SUPREME Court senior advocate and former Karnataka Additional Advocate General (AAG) Devadatt Kamat visited the heritage Lansdowne Building on Saturday morning.
He conducted an inspection to file an affidavit with the special leave petition (SLP) on the proposed demolition of the building. Following the instruction of Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, who directed officials to consult Kamat to resolve the ongoing dispute with the demolition of Lansdowne Building and Devaraja Market Building during a meeting in Bengaluru, Kamat visited the heritage building for inspection.
