The tusker, which had entered the forest fringes at Hosakatte village in search of food on Saturday night, has tried to enter the forest at Veeranahosahalli wildlife range near Mudaganuru when it got stuck between the two cement pillars of the rail barricade near a lake.
The Forest department erected huge cement pillars for the rail barricades near water bodies.
The tusker was caught between the pillars around 5 pm.
