The Sangha state president H R Basavarajappa told reporters here on Monday that the Congress party promised to scrap the three farm laws in its election manifesto. He also demanded that the state government pass a resolution opposing power privatisation, similar to steps taken by non-BJP governments in other states, and submit it to the central government.
