THE opposite of Dravidian stock is 'arrogant stock' that promoted violence, divided people on the basis of religion and caste and snatched women of their rights, Chief Minister M K Stalin said after expanding the 'Pudhumai Penn Thittam' at Kamaraj College in Thoothukudi on Monday.

The chief minister said women from Tamil Nadu are the frontrunners in studies, higher education and employment because of the policies formulated by the Justice Party, which broke the traditions of confining women to their homes and being dependent on others.
