And these so-called corrective steps, which are purportedly aimed at bettering individual lives by effectively addressing issues connected with daily routine, personal character, etc., have come to be known as New Year Resolutions. However, these resolutions, which are often the distillation of an individual's endeavor to better himself/herself, could have well been taken in an inspired moment. In practice, though, it may require a real test of resolve to implement them.
