He also said that, as part of the event, the keys to five newly built houses for homeless individuals will be handed over.The Buon Natale 2024 procession will be inaugurated by Kiren Rijiju, the Union Minister of Minority Affairs. The procession will feature 21 floating tableaux, adding colour and vibrancy to the celebration. Among them, the 60-foot-long LED Eden's Garden tableau, adorned with glowing lights, is expected to be a major attraction. Another notable tableau will carry the theme of Learning City. Additionally, 15 teams of children and youngsters will perform a flash mob, with a song composed by Aruldev and written by Fr Anu Chalil, the Vicar of Lourdes Cathedral.Launched in 2013, Buon Natale made history in 2014 by entering the Guinness World Records with over 18,000 people participating as Santa Claus. Over the past decade, Buon Natale has contributed to the construction of 60 homes for the underprivileged. The Thrissur Archdiocese comprises 107 parishes. This year, alongside the Buon Natale procession, the diocese, in collaboration with Thrissur Corporation and the ESAF Foundation, will organise Harfest, a carnival featuring nearly 100 stalls showcasing locally made products.
