A statue of Chhatrapati Shivaji on the banks of Pangong Tso in Eastern Ladakh, inaugurated by the Indian Army unit there a few days, triggered a lively debate on social media on its locational relevance.

The Leh-based Fire and Fury Corps proudly posted on X that the statue of Shivaji was inaugurated on December 26 at an altitude of 14,300 ft, before it ran into a verbal crossfire.
