He condemned encroachments on riverbanks and floodplains, warning that these pose significant risks to public safety during floods.He stressed the government's commitment to recovering encroached lands, including those seized by ruling or opposition party members. He urged officials to work collaboratively to safeguard public property and prevent future disasters caused by illegal constructions.
