IN a significant boost to industrial and digital ecosystem, the Andhra Pradesh government has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with tech giant Google to establish its operations in Visakhapatnam.
A Google delegation, led by Bikash Koley, Vice-President of Google Global Networking and Infrastructure (GGNI), met Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu in Amaravati on Wednesday, and briefed him on Google's operations in India, its strategic plans, and proposed investments, particularly in Visakhapatnam.
The agreement to collaborate on various AI initiatives was formalized in the presence of the Chief Minister, and IT Minister Nara Lokesh at the CM's Camp Office.
