They said that the order with regard to the reinforcement of 2,000 more personnel of the CAPFs was issued on Tuesday night and the companies have been directed for immediate deployment. One company of a CAPF comprises 100 jawans.

On Monday last at least 10 suspected militants were killed in an intense gun battle with the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) following insurgents, who were camouflaged in armed forces' uniforms, fired indiscriminately using sophisticated weapons at the Borobekra police station and the adjacent CRPF camp at Jakuradhor in Jiribam district.
