Auto seized for traffic violation, driver climbs tower in protest

A 40-year-old auto rickshaw driver caused a stir on Thursday by climbing a cell tower near Chennai Central Railway Station, demanding that the Railway Protection Force (RPF) return his seized vehicle.

The driver, identified as M Prakash from Pallavan Salai, Triplicane, resorted to the extreme step after his vehicle was confiscated for parking in a no-parking zone.
