A group of miscreants set aflame thatched houses in Mahadalit tola, constructed along Krishna Nagar River at Dedaur village under Mufassil police station limits on Wednesday around 7 pm.
An FIR has been registered at Mufassil police station under various sections of BNS (Bharat Nyay Sanhita), Arms Act and SC/ST Act against a total 28 named accused and others in this connection. An SIT formed to probe the case arrested 15 people including the main accused Nandu Paswan.
