THE assistant director (AD) of ED’s sub zonal office in Madurai, Brijesh Beniwal, has written to Tamil Nadu DGP seeking an FIR against DVAC officials and others for the alleged unauthorised entry into the office and stealing sensitive ED case records under sections 447, 378, 353, 447 and 506 of the IPC.
In a communication, Beniwal said two persons, who claimed to be IB officials, came to the office on December 1 around 1.15 pm and went away after being asked for their identity cards.
