PRIME Minister Narendra Modi has reaffirmed India's intention to conclude the Free Trade Agreement (FTA) with the United Kingdom.

This became clear after the PM met British Foreign Secretary David Lammy on Wednesday.

"We desire to conclude a mutually beneficial FTA and welcome the bilateral technology security initiative with the UK. It was a pleasure to meet David Lammy and I appreciated the priority accorded by British PM Keir Starmer to broaden and deepen the comprehensive strategic partnership. We remain committed to elevating bilateral ties," said the PM.
