Phl climbs 31 spots in UN e-Participation Index
The Philippine Star|December 04, 2024
The Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) has attributed the Philippines' "unprecedented climb" in the 2024 United Nations e-Participation Index (EPI) to the eGovPH Super App, the government's mobile platform.
By SHEILA CRISOSTOMO

In the latest EPI rankings, the Philippines surged 31 spots, from 80th in 2022 to 49th this year.

"This is a testament to the nation's remarkable progress in leveraging ICT to revolutionize citizen engagement and elevate public service delivery to global standards," the DICT emphasized in a statement.

DICT Secretary Ivan John Uy said that at the forefront of this digital transformation is the eGovPH Super App, "a cutting-edge, all-in-one platform enabling Filipinos to access local and national government services directly from their mobile phones."
