Sebaashray health camps start working in Diamond Harbour

A. bhanerjee, Trinamul Congress MP from Diamond Harbour and party's national general secretary today inaugurated health camps under Sebaashray initiative in the area this morning.

The camps will be held covering the areas that fall under the seven Assembly constituencies. The duration of each camp is seven days and after the camps are held in all the Assembly segments, follow-up camps will be held for another five days.

The Assembly segments under Diamond Harbour Lok Sabha seat are Diamond Harbour, Falta, Bishnupur, Budge Budge, Satgachia, Metiabruz and Maheshtala.

Mr Banerjee opened a model camp at SDO ground in the morning.

Calling the initiative a unique one and which has happened for the first time in India, Mr Banerjee said the camps would benefit the people living under Diamond Harbour Lok Sabha seat immensely. "Taking cue from here I hope all India leaders will take such initiatives in their respective areas. If leaders from Bengal from the MPs to the panchayat leaders take such initiatives, we will provide all assistance," he said.

He said 6,000 to 7,000 people will attend the camps.
