Now, this iconic local brand that was trademarked in 1909 is venturing into the wellness sphere, with the launch of its aromatherapy wellness lotions on Nov 6.
These offerings, under the Sensorial Therapy range, merge tradition with modern self-care needs, allowing Tiger Balm to expand beyond pain relief into holistic wellness.
Ms Jasmin Hong, general manager of marketing at Haw Par Healthcare, the Singaporean manufacturer of healthcare products including Tiger Balm, says the move into aromatherapy was inspired by the growing global interest in holistic wellness.
She adds that Tiger Balm discovered many customers were using the product in creative ways, such as applying it before a stressful meeting for its calming effects.
