The nationwide survey on mental health in our youth by the Institute of Mental Health (IMH) revealed that almost a third of young people aged 15 to 35 frequently felt empty, tense or upset (Depression, anxiety, stress: 1 in 3 youth in S'pore reported very poor mental health, says IMH survey, Sept 19).

This poor sense of mental well-being is concerning, especially since these people are just starting out in life and they should instead be filled with hope, energy and optimism.
