He will then travel to Rio de Janeiro in Brazil for the Group of 20 (G-20) Summit from Nov 17 to 20, said the Prime Minister's Office (PMO) on Nov 13.
PM Wong will also have bilateral meetings with leaders of other countries on the sidelines of both summits. His back-to-back trips mark the first time he will attend these major international meetings as prime minister. It will also be his first visit to Latin America in that capacity.
Other leaders, including US President Joe Biden and Chinese President Xi Jinping, are also expected to attend both summits.
