After the completion of Vaastu Shanyi Anushthan and purification of Garbh Griha on 20 January, the rituals of Madhyadiwas, Shaiyadhiwas and Ved Parayan are scheduled for 21 January, ahead of the pran pratishtha or consecration ceremony of Ram Lalla on 22 January on Monday at the newly built Ram Mandir in Ayodhya.
Apart from the water from all the holy rivers of the country— Ganga, Yamuna, Godavari, Narmada, Indus, Kaveri—a total of 125 pots of water from other countries including Nepal, Sri Lanka, Indonesia, Malaysia, Cambodia and Thailand will be used to bathe the idol along with the chanting of Vedic mantras. After the completion of the process, Madhyadiwas and then Shayyadhiwas will be followed. On 21 January, only Vedic Brahmins and the main host will be present in the Garbh Girah.
