He said: &ldquo;It got to the point where we had two options: he either gets euthanised, or we give him a chance of life. There were a lot of people rooting for him&hellip; if we had chosen the other method, I think people would have hunted me down!&rdquo;
Nigel, who lives in a sensory enclosure due to poor eyesight, woke up 12 hours after his op, yawned, then went straight back to sleep. He is a cat, after all!
