MUSICIAN Tom Fletcher knows a lot about mental health battles and, as the father of three young boys, a lot about kids.

The McFly star was diagnosed with bipolar disorder after years of speculation and has since talked openly about the "extreme mood swings" he has suffered since childhood.

Now Tom, 39, and his podcaster wife Giovanna are urging parents to talk to their kids about their feelings amid fears of a growing mental health crisis.
