Hyderabad: With eyes on the coveted World Heritage City tag for Hyderabad, the Telangana government has taken up restoration of as many as 40 ancient structures across the city — including some lesser-known properties. Of these, work on 22 have already been completed while work on the others is still in progress, officials said.
Among those where restoration is currently underway are — the State Central Library, Shaikpet Sarai, Khursheed Jah Devdi, Julu Kaman and Gulzar Houz Fountain.
