<p><strong>Hyderabad:&nbsp;</strong>Goa-based alleged drug lord <strong>Edwin Nunes </strong>has reportedly confessed to Hyderabad police that his suppliers were foreigners, including&nbsp;Russains, nationals from European and African countires.</p>

<p id="4">In fact, Edwin and his associates used to barter ganja, charas and hash oil with synthetic drugs smuggled by his foreign associates.</p>
<p id="5">Most of the foreign suppliers used to come to Goa for a short trip and it was Edwin who used to arrange accommodation and other facilities during their stay, he reportedly confessed during his fourday police custody.</p>
<p id="6">&ldquo;Edwin&rsquo;s suppliers include both foreigners and Indians. The foreigners used to come on a visiting visa. He claims that he never used to directly deal with drugs. His associates used to collect the drugs and, later on his instructions, it used to be sold by his staff and associates at his restaurant and other places,&rdquo; police sources told <strong>TOI</strong>.</p>

<p id="2">Police are in the process to make the names of those persons, confessed by Edwin, as accused in the case. However, the sources refused to disclose the names of his suppliers.</p>
<p id="3">By hosting a party at his Curlie&rsquo;s shack, Edwin used to earn no less than ̀ 50 lakh. He used to host such parties twice a week. During peak tourist season, he used to organise techno music parties by charging an entry fee of `3,0005,000, wherein through his agents he allegedly supplied narcotic substances to consumers on Anjuna beach.</p>

<p id="2">Edwin, who started his career as a waiter, started his own shack with four tables.</p>
<p id="3">Later, using his contacts with drug peddlers, he allegedly started to sell drugs at his restaurant. Several years ago, Edwin also contested as a sarpanch.</p>

<p id="1"><strong>Hyderabad: </strong>A local court at Nampally on Thursday granted conditional bail to Goa-based alleged drug supplier Edwin Nunes in a case registered against him by Lalaguda police. An important condition is that he should appear before police everyday for 30 days. However, he walked out of jail on Wednesday evening as Lalaguda police did not seek his judicial remand. He had earlier obtained bail in two other cases booked in the city.</p>
<p id="2">Officials said he would be in custody from morning to evening for 30 days. Edwin has succeeded in getting bail in all the three cases registered against him by city police. Officials said in cases filed by OU police and Ramgopalpet police, he had obtained conditional bail in the last week. On Wednesday, he walked out of jail.</p>
<p id="3">On Thursday, he moved a bail petition in the case filed by Lalaguda police as cops did not seek his judicial remand.&nbsp;</p>
