Karvy chief booked for selling plots of 2009 sold-out venture

Hyderabad: Karvy Group chairman C Parthasarathy is in fresh trouble with Hyderabad Central Crime Station (CCS) sleuths slapping another criminal case against him for allegedly cheating investors by promising plots in a venture belonging to Karvy Realty (India) Pvt Ltd.

The latest case is the third one against Karvy Group and its chairman.

Earlier, police had registered cases based on complaints given by a few banks and Karvy’s investors, who were associated with its Karvy Stock Broking Limited (KSBL). The banks accused Karvy management of pledging shares of clients to raise loans without customers’ consent, besides defaulting on the loans.
