<p id="1"><strong>Hyderabad: </strong>The much-awaited Nagole flyover to provide signal-free route to thousands of commuters from Uppal crossroads to LB Nagar was thrown open for public by MA&amp;UD minister KT Rama Rao on Wednesday.</p>
<p id="2">Commissioned under the TRS government&rsquo;s prestigious Strategic Road Development Programme (SRDP), KTR said that chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao&rsquo;s vision behind formulating SRDP is to build key infrastructure in Hyderabad to ensure the city is future ready and doesn&rsquo;t have to confront issues that Bengaluru is facing currently.</p>
<p id="3">Built at a cost of Rs 143.5 crore, the Nagole flyover spans 990 metres and is set to save lot of time for commuters on the route. The travel time from airport to Secunderabad via LB Nagar would reduce.</p>
<p id="1">Addressing a public meeting near the flyover, KTR said, &ldquo;The city is undergoing massive development. There are so many videos on social media on the infrastructure projects in the city. Ask children and even they will tell you how the city is being developed.&rdquo;</p>

<p id="1">KTR said Hyderabad being honoured with World Green City Award 2022 was a proud moment for the state and it was primarily because of Telangana government&rsquo;s initiatives. He said that of the 47 projects under SRDP, the GHMC has taken up 41 and completed 31. The completed 31 projects include 15 flyovers, five underpasses, seven RUBs and ROBs, one cable bridge and one steel bridge at Punjagutta among others.</p>
