Hyderabad: The Telangana government’s order on teaching Telugu for all classes has left non-natives in the city in a fix. State's Telugu rider puts non-natives in fix

“I am a Telugu, but owing to my job with central government, we stayed in Delhi and my son studied from LKG to Grade 8 in a CBSE school. Due to my transfer, we came to Hyderabad and now he has to learn Telugu for class 10 board exam (SSC), which is practically impossible. While he can speak, he’s not well versed with written language and is scoring low. The main concern is now for next year’s board exams when it will impact his grades for higher education,” shared a parent.
