Warangal: Rahul Gandhi on Friday sought to reiterate that Congress will never align with the ‘corrupt’ TRS as he accused the Centre of allowing chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao to plunder thousands of crores of people’s money, mainly of farmers, by not ordering a CBI or ED probe against him.
Addressing a well-attended Rythu Sangharshana public meeting at Arts College grounds in Warangal, he said: “Congress will never forgive the man (KCR) for destroying the dreams of people and stealing Telangana people’s money. The CM of Telangana is ruling like a raja (king) and not as a democratically-elected leader. The king does not hear or listen to the voice of the people and rules as he wishes. KCR is doing just that.”
Taking a dig at KCR’s family, Rahul Gandhi said his party will always stand by farmers and added that “Telangana state was not given for one person or one family.”
