3rd cheetah moved to hunting enclosure at Kuno

Almost 12 days after cheetahs ‘Elton and Freddie’ were released into a larger enclosure at Kuno National Park as stage-II of their familiarisation with the new habitat, a third male named Oban was released on Friday.

Bhopal: 

Oban was shifted to Boma-8 after approval from the Cheetah Special Task Force.

The shifting of the five other cheetahs, however, depends on the capture of a female leopard that is still lurking in the bigger boma, said sources. Teams are out trying to trap the leopard and release her outside the enclosure.
