Chandigarh: The CBI arrested Kalyani Singh, daughter of Himachal Pradesh high court acting chief justice Sabina Singh, on Wednesday in connection with the murder of a national-level shooter and advocate, Sukhmanpreet Singh Sidhu, alias Sippy Sidhu.
Kalyani was working in 2015 as an assistant professor in a government college in Chandigarh. Demanding custody of Kalyani for 10 days, CBI managed to secure remand for four days to interrogate her to identify the killers, recover the weapons and the vehicle used and find out the roles of others in the murder, which had shaken Chandigarh.
