Imran: I knew they planned to kill me... I was hit by 4 bullets

Islamabad: His right leg in a cast after surgery to remove bullets fired by a potential assassin, former Pakistan PM Imran Khan Friday appeared in a live-streamed address to the nation from a wheelchair, barely 24 hours after surviving an attack that brought PTI supporters to the streets and triggered a face-off with government forces trying to stave off the gathering storm. "I'll come to the details of the attack later. I got to know the day before (the attack) that either in Wazirabad or Gujrat they planned to kill me," the 70-year-old Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf chairman said, wearing a hospital robe and with the country's flag forming the backdrop.
