The fort has been shut since August 12 owing to rain damage.
The report mentions chances of the fort's entrance arch falling, uprooted safety railings risking lives of visitors, damage caused to sections of the wall and tower due to the growth of weeds and trees, handing over the fort's upkeep to the state archaeology department, the need for placing public information signboards, and appointing guides.
