Abhijit Modak, amateur forecaster who runs the Konkan Weather blog, said the "anticyclone evolving over northwest Rajasthan with combination of Upper Air Circulation in the Arabian Sea may lead to change in wind pattern which is favourable to develop thunderstorms during evening hours".
"Dry weather conditions look unlikely. From September 27, the city may witness clear skies in the afternoon with thunderstorm activity picking pace in the evenings.
However, the quantum of rain cannot be ascertained at present," said Modak.
