New Delhi: Noting the inordinate delay” in receiving the Lokayukta reports from Delhi government, lieutenant governor VK Saxena has written to chief minister Arvind Kejriwal, advising him to ensure such statutory reports were tabled in time in the assembly to strengthen” the state ombudsman system.
While approving the 16th and 17th annual consolidated reports of the Lokayukta of Delhi for the years 2017-18 and 2018-19 for laying before Delhi Assembly, the LG noted that he had received these from the CM’s office after a delay of three years.
