Asmi bagged her first show Nima Denzongpa two years ago, when she was only four. Asmi, who plays the adopted daughter of Rupali Ganguly in Anupamaa, has become popular for this role. Her father Abhinay Deo says, “She gets mobbed at malls, but we have taught her how to behave with fans. She already has a huge following on her social media handle. Her mother accompanies her to the set and helps her with her studies. Asmi is interested in acting, so we don’t stop her from working.”
