He claimed it was the ED which had leaked the footage despite giving an assurance in writing in court that it won't do so. The court issued a notice to ED and the hearing has been scheduled for Monday.
The video, of around six minutes, which was shared by several BJP functionaries through social media, comes about two weeks before the municipal corporation elections in Delhi. The 250-ward MCD will go to the polls on December 4 and the counting of votes will take place on December 7. Party insiders said BJP would be using this video in its campaign to dent AAP's claims of being an honest party that was against VIP culture.
