Vote today: BJP eyes trend reversal with 2nd innings

Shimla/Kullu: As Himachal Pradesh votes on Saturday, the Jai Ram Thakur-led BJP government is hoping that voters will usher in a change in “riwaaz (trend)” by bringing in a 2.0 BJP administration. For Congress, riding on a bypoll victory high, wresting the hill state from BJP is a matter of survival.

Having swept four bypolls in the state in November 2021, the grand old party will be hoping for a similar performance this year. However, it has been plagued by infighting and lack of campaigning by central party politicians.
