
I NFANTRY HAS ALWAYS BEEN the last to be considered for modernization, primarily due to its lack of glamour and low-profile weapons and equipment as compared to the tanks, ships, aircraft, guns, missiles, and rockets. However, the reality on ground is that wars are lost if that country’s boots on ground lack the spirit, skill and the right mix of weapons and modern technology to improve its OODA (Observe, Orient, Decide and Act) loop.
