Nintendo can always bank on Mario's inimitable blend of mass appeal and fundamentally excellent gameplay, and Super Mario Galaxy was its big Wii hit for the holidays.
THE LATEST NEWS FROM DECEMBER 2007

Edge gave it the full 10/10, saying that it "pulls off stunts no one else has even thought of, and makes it look easy", while revolution gave it 9.6/10, praising the planet-hopping platforming for "allowing a huge variety of elements to be squeezed into each stage without ever feeling cluttered or overly confusing". Official Nintendo Magazine gave it 97% and games™ scored it 9/10. Also on the Wii, Mario & Sonic At The Olympic Games saw the platforming rivals face off in multi-sports action, with scores of 9.0/10 in nRevolution, 90% in ONM and 8/10 in games™ proving the wisdom of the concept. Capcom's point-and-click puzzler Zack & Wiki: Quest For Barbaros' Treasure also delighted, scoring 94% in ONM and 8/10 in Edge, the former literally imploring readers to buy it.
