Where I live in Southeast Florida, indoor/ outdoor living is baked into the very fabric of home design. In recent years, homeowners in less welcoming climates have begun to adopt the indoor/outdoor lifestyle. The availability of heating lamps, smart fire pits and insulated patios have made it possible for everyone to enjoy lazy evenings on the back porch watching a football game or simply gazing at the stars while enjoying the company of a crackling fire.
